The Principal Human Resource officer will be reporting to the Human Resource Manager.

Responsibilities:

Analyzing the staffing levels and making proposals for succession planning;
Analyzing utilization of human resource in the Agency and advising on proper deployment;
Analyzing staff progression and making proposals for career development; and
Ensuring the correct interpretation and implementation of human resource regulations including pensions, salary administration, labour laws and other statutes that impact on human resource.

Qualification and Experience

Served for a minimum period of three (3) years in a senior management position in human resource management or in a comparable position in the Public Service or reputable Private Sector.
A Bachelors Degree in social sciences or any other relevant qualification from a recognized university and a diploma in human resource management or industrial relations from a recognized institution.
Have attended a senior management course in relevant field lasting not less than four (4) weeks in a recognized institution.
Shown merit as reflected in work performance and results.
Member of Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM-K).
Master’s degree In human resource management will be an added advantage
