Job Description:


The Planning Officer II position coordinates the implementation and evaluation of the NHC strategic plan, annual work programmes, development of internal performance contracts for all staff and ensuring their execution, policy analysis on matters related to shelter development as well as liaison with external institutions on housing and shelter matters among others.

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelors degree in Economics, Mathematics, Planning, Statistics or equivalent
• A Post graduate diploma in Urban or Project Planning / Management or equivalent
• Six (6) years experience in planning and/or urban development
• Computer Literate
• The positions of General Managers will be on a three (3) year renewable contract term

The rest will be on permanent and pensionable basis

Successful candidates will be subject to performance contracting.
