Job Title: Tour and Travel Consultant

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Provide consultation to the clients with respect to enquiries on travel schedules, packages and other related information
• Arrange for the booking of travel tickets and accommodations to company’s customers
• Explore new travel and tour places and provide information on the same to customers
• Collect travel payments and handle other transactions from the customers in advance to facilitate hotel and care booking
• Prepare itineraries to the various destinations of interest
• Ensure the rate files are orderly & up to date
• Ensure bookings that do not mature are cancelled in time to avoid cancellation penalties especially for hotels
• Ensure customers’ special request especially on accommodation and room specification, driver guide language, meals are pre-arranged
• Updating daily ticket sales on the reservations system
• Issuing tickets
Qualification and Experience:
• A Bachelor’s degree preferably in business or tourism related field is preferred and IATA ticketing training
• Must have at least 3 years work experience in Travel Consultancy
• Must have outstanding communication skills
• Proven ticketing skills
• An honest individual with a proven track record of integrity
