Job Description:
Reporting to the General Manager Business Development, the officer will be responsible for the undertaking of all environmental impact assessment and audits as a lead expert, advising management on issues related to zoning, building codes and regulations, undertaking project feasibility studies.
S/He will be responsible for land use planning and management, coordination of housing research and undertaking of market surveys among other duties.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelors’ degree in Economics, Planning, or equivalent from a recognized university
• A Masters degree in Economics Planning or equivalent or an MBA Registered as an environmental Impact assessment lead expert with NEMA
• Twelve (1 2) years experience as an Economist or Planner, six (6) of which must have been served in a senior managerial position
• Should have practical knowledge in research management and consultancy
• The positions of General Managers will be on a three (3) year renewable contract term
The rest will be on permanent and pensionable basis
Successful candidates will be subject to performance contracting.
